Incompatibilitate Flash Player 7 - Flash Player 9

Saptamana trecuta a fost lanast Flash Player 9 care a adaugat un set de functionalitati si fix-uri renderului de fisiere Flash.
Azi am observat o incompatibilitate intre versiunea 7 si cea 9 a playerului. Un film exportat pentru flash player 7 cu background custom, nu are background in Flash Player 9, acesta fiind negru.

Da, s`a auzit bine. Muzica se poate lua gratis cu Windows Media Player. E banal de simplu.
In Media Player, va duceti la Guide. Acolo cautati ce melodie, artist vreti, dati sa o ascultati si dupa ce s-a descarcat, urmeaza partea misto Va duceti in:

X:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

*unde X este partitia pe care este instalat Windowsul si USERNAME este numele vostru de utilizator
gasiti melodia, o copiati intr`un folder si gata, melodia s-a luat.
Nu stiu daca este ilegal dar nu cred, avand in vedere ca melodia e pusa moca spre ascultare, deci ajunge moca in Temporary Internet Files-ul vostru, si deci cu un copy... in cu totu alt folder.

Blender 2.42 a fost lansat

Blender este un software Open Source pentru modelare 3D (animare, randare, modelare..). Este portat pe majoritatea platformelor si este distribuit sub GNU General Public License.
Din schimbarile aduse de Blender 2.42:

Node editing
Editorul secvential complet rescris
Noi unelte mesh
Suporta materiale anti-isotopice
Imbunatatirea simularii de fluide
O mai buna animatie de caractere

Traducerea este aproximativa si total neautorizata. De preferat sa cititi changelog-ul oficial.

The name of the big kernel with many built-in options has been changed from
test26.s to huge26.s to reflect that Slackware 11.0 will consider the
2.6.16.x kernel series to be a supported kernel series. However, I'm
probably going to leave the bare.i 2.4.32 kernel as the default kernel (or
perhaps sata.i?) as it has very good performance and probably better security
due to the simpler and longer-tested design. I might apply or at least make
available in the kernel-source package for 2.4.32 a patch to fix direct
rendering with 2.4.x kernels and X.Org 6.9.0 or newer. Since anyone using
Slackware for server use isn't likely to be loading the DRI modules, it's
untouched code on those machines and won't affect server stability (well,
depending on what, if anything, outside of the module is changed in the
kernel). It is probably a safe enough patch to apply. I'd rather ship 100%
vanilla kernels (and might, with the patch "on the side"), but DRI does not
work without the patch past X.Org 6.8.2. Is this enough text here?

Software Freedom Law Center (SFLC) a anuntat ieri ca standardul OpenDocument Format (ODF) este OK pentru folosirea in software-ul gratuit.
Din articol:

James Vasile, SFLC Legal Counsel, says that the determination wasn't simple -- even though many users probably assumed it was free software safe, as it appears in the OpenOffice.org suite. "The main question was always going to be Sun, whether Sun had done what it needed to do to assure everyone else they could use ODF. Sun didn't have to worry about it when they put out OpenOffice.org."
Vasile says that making the determination was "a significant amount of work. We had to go back and figure out what the source of consternation was, then look at it [the ODF specification] and make sure it really was compatible" with free software licenses such as the GNU General Public License.

Social search, noi metode folosite in cautarea online

Pagina dedicata tehnologiei a CNN gazduieste o analiza interesanta a catorva mici companii, care ofera motoare online de cautare, si care incearca sa devina competitie pentru Google, prin metode noi folosite pentru generarea rezultatelor unei cautari obisnuite. O astfel de companie este Prefound.
Prefound.com foloseste o altfel de metoda decat cea traditionala, in care rezultatele afisate depind foarte mult de link-urile directe sau indirecte catre o pagina relevanta pentru termenii cautarii. In locul traditionalului algoritm de tip 'page hit', asa numita metoda 'social search' pleaca de la premisa ca inteligenta sau intelectul colectiv depaseste expertiza unui program software. Asa incat, relevanta rezultatelor obtinute pe cale 'traditionala' este pusa la indoiala in multe cazuri; gusturile, experientele, intelectul si afectivitatea fiecaruia din noi ne permite sa ne formam anumite pareri, care pot deveni raspunsuri valide pentru intrebarile puse de alti utilizatori asemanatori noua. O astfel de metoda presupune interactivitatea. Google si Yahoo au constientizat existenta acestei 'nise' in piata cautarii online, si incearca sa ofere solutii proprii in astfel de cazuri, cand o simpla statistica cu link-uri devine irelevanta.
